Music produced under my own name is generally the result of exploring and embracing small elements of sound to create larger, sprawling, subtle environments, with the intent of touching upon (or imitating) the sublime.

The Joane Skyler pseudonym is used as a front for my most recent musical project, involving tape-loops and circuit-bent cassette players as part of a playful set-up to produce analogue 'wonky' improvisations.
There is little recorded eveidence of this musical collaboration with Joel Beach, other than a cassette belonging to YAAAARD, one poorly recorded wav file and 10 seconds of footage of our debut performance. oh well.
